So many emails to get though with random junk and subscriptions, then a little heart flutter as you see the subject line 'Congratulations, You have won National Geographic Channel's competition!' A quick submission of my details and offering many thanks, my Demon Driver experience voucher was in the post and arrived the next day! Have now booked my experience and am awaiting eagerly for the day to arrive. Comping has given me the chance to do many things I would never normally have the chance to do, and hopefully many more to come!

    Good luck to all!

I keep plugging away at the comps, and had a great Christmas in consequence. Things have now slowed down, but I won "Sword of Vengeance" DVD this month, which is a must for the lads in the family. One quote says: "the proceedings largely consist of a series of ultra-violent set pieces filmed in a bleakly monochromatic visual style in which the crimson of the freely spilled blood is the only discernible color." Great!

I started entering competitions last year as my hubby had to go away with work for 6 weeks and I started to think how I would love to get him a watch but as a housewife my money was his so thought comping was the answer!! My first win was a £900 golf trolley and bag... My brother in law had the best bday present ever and then I was hooked!! I have won a night away worth £500 a theatre experience worth £1000 cookery classes worth £300 and hair products worth £200. I have won over 40 prizes in a year I write them all down so if I have a bad month I can look at my prizes and it Spurs me on.
My best win is the competition I've just won .. A 10 day holiday to Australia and £1000 cash!! My worst prize is runner up to a holiday comp and winning laxatives!!! I am now a comping addict and never see me giving up! My tips are bright cards for postal. Writing down what u won and perserverence! Also thank you prizefinder you have been a godsend x

On 28th May I entered a competition through The PrizeFinder to win weekend camping tickets to T in The Park in July. To my delight on the 29th of May I received a congratulatory email informing me that I had won! I could not believe it! My boyfriend and I had a great time and saw some great acts.
I will definitely continue 'comping' through The PrizeFinder - I now have my sights set on some Glastonbury tickets for next year!

I have been comping using The Prizefinder for a year now and have had some nice wins, not every month but a steady success rate, so in January this year my New Years Resolution was to master Facebook - so I set up a profile and read all the advice from Prizefinder and gave it a go - and in April I started winning - my recent prizes have included -

A Highchair and Babygate from a FB/Argos Comp (great present for my new Nephew )

A huge pack of cardmaking supplies

A washbag and toiletries from Bayliss and Harding on FB

And in June a fantastic Hamper full of lovely food from the Cartridge Save /FB site (pictured) I nearly missed out on this prize as I hadn't checked their site to see who won but luckily lots of lovely fellow compers and FB users searched my name and let me know I'd won - and to claim my prize and I'm very grateful to them.

So thanks Prizefinder for all th great listings and helpful blog advice - my next task is to get to grips with Twitter so i'll be referring to that advice again soon - onward and upward !!!

I enter around 100 comps a day and have not had any winners for ages. The other day I received an email to say I had won a family go carting session. We have never done go carting so we are really looking forward to it. The thing I love about comping is that you get to do things that you would not usually think of doing.

A couple of weeks back i received an email telling me that id won a fire-pit worth £250, was over the moon. After a nightmare with not receiving it as apparently parcel force said i'd signed for it (I didn't)... they happily sent me a new one out. I love it, just waiting for the right weather to use it. Well today i got a Facebook message telling me I've won a BBQ worth £549.. I'm gobsmacked! Its true what they say, you gotta be in it to win it and i sure did that. Around £800 worth of prizes in 2 weeks, its been my best month by far!

  • Two wins in one week!

I tend to enter about 100 competitions a month, and have had a few big wins, generally around 18 months apart. In the last year my only prize had been a £20 Amazon voucher so I was thrilled to win £50 cash in an Instagram holidays themed photo competition, followed by a £500 holiday cottages voucher a week later in a rafflecopter competition. I used the £50 to treat my best friend and I to a night out drinking cocktails!

  • AROO! Spartan Prize Won

    Friday, July 10, 2015

Having won entry earlier in the year for the Vitality Reading Half Marathon then experiencing a car crash the day before...I was eager to try something a little shorter. I saw a quick twitter entry competition with a prize for free entry to a Spartan Sprint Race (5km obstable race) via @timeoutdoors. Entry made, I forgot about it until my phone vibrated to ask me which one I'd like...Manchester or South Wales. Well pleased. The day was beautiful sunshine, lots of lifting, carrying running and mud! great prize

  • Instant Win (Yes you can)

I often wondered if anyone ever won the instant win Yeo Valley Fruit Machine daily prize draw or any daily instant win draw for that matter.
I am happy to report that, yes they do. I was a lucky winner last month when three of the same fruits dropped down on the Yeo Valley fruit machine. I won a beautiful Godminster Vintage goodies hamper containing all sorts of lovely things to eat and drink. The company were first class with the follow up emails confirming delivery etc.
I often enter the instant win/daily comps but not obsessively. I do them only when I have time.
Coincidentally I also won last month a runner up prize from the Jennings Brewery Pull a Pint instant win draw. This was a Jennings Explore More Pint T Shirt. Again, I was shocked to see that it was possible to win on this type of draw.
So if anyone has any doubts about instant win web comps of this type, let me be living proof that they do work out sometimes.
Thanks Prizefinder for all your fabulous listings.
