It began last June with a simple competition asking me to 'fashion a religion' for PC gamers. It was a curious concept and one that puzzled me, but none the less I piled hours into research and drawing (And I'm no artist!) and come the next month I was the new owner of a £1000 PC. This is where my addiction began.....
Months followed and I was homing in on every skill-based comp there was, in order to fulfill my desire for more prizes. Poems, photos, paintings, stories....I did them all, and whether it was a jar of honey or some new flip-flops, I could not help but feel pleased with myself for my newly-found creative streak.
Of course, I'm too busy now with work to 'comp' as I did several months ago. But I'm still keeping my eye out for those few comps that challenge my creativity (regardless of the prize). Anyhow, here's my latest win from J20. Got some friends to go paintballing and bought £10 of J20 and ouila! - another prize to be proud of.
