Whew - that’s soggy January out of the way then! How has it been for you? I’ve not quite got into the swing of my comping yet, but I'm hoping there will be lots of fantastic new promotions in February to inspire me.
Here we are, two days in to a brand new year! Have you got any wins to report yet? Any surprise parcels from the Postman today? I've decided 2014 is going to be a BIG year for wins - a trip to the World Cup is top of my wishlist!
It's mayhem in the comping world this week as the Advent comps have all kicked off - we have more than 400 dailies listed so fingers crossed we'll be hearing of lots of lucky winners soon! Do let us know if you have any Advent wins - the great thing is that you usually find out within 24 hours if y're the winner of the daily draws.
Whew! Looks like we survived Halloween for another year - did you get lucky with any of the pumpkin or fancy dress comps? I had loads of fun dressing up as Grotbags and scaring the neighbours...
Brrrrr.... can you feel the chill in the air? I don't know about you, but once it hits October I start writing a Christmas list of all the prizes I want to win for the family before the big day! This year, Playmobil and kitchen gadgets are top of my list. What stocking fillers would you like to win for Christmas?
Hooray - it's September and the kids are finally back at school! It's a huge relief for me as I've spent 6 weeks juggling childcare, DIY and work - now my son has started at his new nursery I can concentrate on the really important things. Like... comping, of course!
We're already a week into August - sorry I'm so late getting the wins post up! I moved house last week and have had a bit of trouble getting online. Still, we're all settled in and now I need to get winning a new bathroom, kitchen, carpets, blinds, garden makeover… that should keep me busy for a while!
So, it looks like Summer might finally be here - but does that mean you've slowed down your comping in order to spend more time outside in the sunshine? No, of course not - after all, weren't iPads, laptops and smartphones invented so we can sit in a deckchair winning prizes?
Wow, here we are in June - almost half way through 2013 already! Are you making any progress ticking off the prizes on your wish list this year? I won a big one from mine last month - £500 of Hillarys Blinds vouchers - which is perfect as we move house soon and the huge lounge window desperately needs a smart roman blind! But I still need to win that dishwasher… fingers crossed!
Whoops, where have the first few days of April gone? Hidden under a pile of chocolate eggs it seems! With a couple of weeks off with the kids, let's hope you're getting busy with the fun and creative competitions - make sure you get out and about too, as local shopping centres, restaurants and museums will be running kids comps.
